Celebrate National Letting Go of Stuff Day

Got Stuff? Want to let go? There is now a day dedicated to the letting go of stuff and making anew. National Letting Go of Stuff Day is the fourth Thursday in March. This is day dedicated to loving and forgiving oneself. In honor of this nationally recognized day, there will be a reception held in Nashville, TN at the Hampton Inn in Green Hills. The reception is on March 26, 2009 from 6:30 - 8:30 pm. It is FREE and open to  the public.

Tiffany Currie, organizer of National Letting Go of Stuff Day says, "This day is really about focusing on who you are, and what you want to change to create a better person on the inside. This day gives you a great way to measure your personal development progress from one year to the next." Orpah and others have touted personal development as the single most important factor for learning to let go of stuff, love your self, and forgive your self. Now there is a national day totally dedicated to this notion.

Founder of the National Letting Go of Stuff Day, Darren L. Johnson, says that this day was born out of a national need. "I believe that many people (particularly in the US) are suffering right now. We all need something "more" and the place in which to find it is inside your heart and soul. This national day represents the importance of that notion."

The Nashville reception is open to the public, will have a display of feng shui art by Robyn Morshead and author/speaker Patricia Leonard will give remarks.

National Letting Go of Stuff Day is sponsored in part by the Global Business and Organization Development Foundation. The phrase "Letting Go of Stuff" is used with permission.
